SHAVING WITH OIL?
Oh yes, it's a thing alright! No more soap based shaving products with our Smooth Shave Creme. Shaving with coconut oil is a completely different but awesome experience. There's no mess, no lather, no stickiness... the razor just glides over the skin, removes the hair AND leaves skin feeling soft, supple and beautifully moisturised. What's not to love?
My other half thought I was crazy when I asked him to try shaving with coconut oil. He said 'I don't need after shave oil on after I've shaved' . I said no, I want you to actually shave using the oil instead of your usual soapy shaving gel. He looked at me with a puzzled expression but agreed to try it anyway. His first time was a bit skeptical. He paused before he rubbed the oil on his face and stubble and asked 'Do I use water as well?' I said he could if he wanted to, if it made him feel better, so he rinsed his face with warm water, dried his hands and dunked his fingers into the Smooth Shave Creme and spread it over his face and neck. It melted onto his face as he spread it around over his stubble and I held my breath...
He shaved his face commenting that there wasn't any foam. Errrr, nope! He finished shaving and said 'That's different' but he seemed impressed with the smooth finish, lack of nicks and cuts and the soft face. Yessssss, I thought, maybe, just maybe he will grow to like it and continue to use it. Two months later and he hasn't bought any more shaving soap or gel and I'm having trouble getting the tin out of his hands so that I can refill it for him. He is a total convert. Job done!

Coconut oil is solid below about 20° but as soon as it touches the skin it melts into oil, making it easy to apply.

Ok, so you can experience an amazingly close and smooth shave but you can also use it as an after-shave moisturising balm. We could invent another product just for this but let's face it (ahem!) this is also perfect for slathering over your face, body, feet, hands and any other bits and pieces you feel need a little TLC. I use it on my underarms and legs AND it doesn't wash away and need re-applying in the shower or bath. It's a dream.
It is suitable for shaving all areas of the face and body and once you have become used to the different experience of using Bare Coco Smooth Shave Creme we don't think you will revert back to soap based products. We could be wrong and it may not suit everyone but it seems to have opened up a whole new world for my partner.
